Software Systems Engineer - IV (Wireless IT) America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in the Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste Management sectors. We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management. Our founders are experienced telecommunications engineers with over 200 years of combined experience in designing, optimizing, and performance engineering for major wireless carriers worldwide. They identified a need for low-power, cost-efficient sensors to collect data, generate alerts, and predict actions. We integrate these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to help clients reduce recurring costs of IoT networks. We specialize in designing, deploying, optimizing, and supporting these networks. Whether off-the-shelf or custom solutions are required, we create tailored solutions and deploy data on the most suitable cloud platform, including client-specific options. Required experience includes: - Development with Java/J2EE, JSPs, DAOs, Oracle Weblogic - Frameworks such as Struts, Spring, Hibernate, AJAX, JSON/DWR, web services, XML/XSD, SOAP - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Front-end development with Angular 1.5/Angular 2.0 - Agile methodology and DevOps culture - Quality analysis tools like SonarQube, Fortify - Client-side technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, DHTML - SOA architecture - Understanding of SDLC, agile, and quality control methodologies - Ability to develop scalable applications and understand POS systems, technologies, and architecture - Experience across all phases of the development lifecycle, integrating Development, Execution, and Operations architectures - Minimum 8+ years in SDLC, Java, J2EE, SOAP, Web Services - 6+ years with AJAX, JSON, jQuery, DWR - 2+ years with Angular, Node.js #J-18808-Ljbffr
