Join to apply for the Sr. Innovation and Automation Analyst role at Ogletree Deakins Position Summary We have the opportunity for an experienced Senior Innovation and Automation Analyst to join the firm's expanding Technology department. As part of the Information Technology (IT) department, the Senior Innovation and Automation Analyst's primary objective is to work closely with the firm's other departments to understand business needs, analyze and develop business requirements that align with their goals, and support project deliverables. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with department representatives to understand needs, translate them into deliverables, and work within the IT organization to allocate resources accordingly. Regular communication of progress, issue resolution, and escalation are essential to ensure team coordination and goal achievement. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between K&I, other departments, and IT, facilitating communication and alignment. Ensure project deadlines are met and escalate delays or resource constraints to leadership. Gather, document, and review business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Coordinate between departments to understand, prioritize, and execute requirements within timelines. Maintain regular updates on project status, blockers, and resource needs. Create detailed business requirements documents in collaboration with IT and departments. Ensure solutions meet business and technical needs, and conduct project review meetings. Communicate insights and plans effectively across teams and management. Manage requirements, coordinate initiatives, and prioritize based on business needs. Assist with technical documentation and oversee project lifecycles. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred. 3+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT or legal fields. Strong understanding of technology applications in business processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management tools; SCRUM master preferred. Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and agile methodologies. Additional skills such as experience with applications analysis, Microsoft tools, Azure, and RPA are a plus. Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and maintain confidentiality. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, dependability, and project management capabilities.
