Job Opportunity: Test Technician

As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting electronic components to the component level, adhering to AS9100 standards. You will test mechanical and electronic equipment using advanced test equipment, read blueprints and schematics, and conduct testing with vibration tables and thermal chambers. Utilizing LabVIEW standards, you will document test procedures according to AS9100, IPC-610, and other relevant standards. Experience with analog or digital systems is essential. Responsibilities include: Troubleshooting electronic components to the component level following AS9100 standards. Testing mechanical and electronic equipment using advanced test equipment. Reading blueprints and schematics for accurate testing. Conducting testing using vibration tables and thermal chambers. Documenting test procedures according to AS9100, IPC-610, and other standards. Collaborating with manufacturing engineers, technicians, and quality teams on the floor. Ensuring detailed documentation of test procedures. Building automated test equipment. Troubleshooting complex assemblies down to the component level. Running test procedures from start to finish following aerospace standards. Essential skills include: 5+ years of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree or trade school degree in engineering or technical field preferred. Proficiency in troubleshooting to the component level. Experience in building automated test equipment. Ability to run test procedures from start to finish. Exposure to LabVIEW for reading and running test procedures is a plus. Knowledge of AS9100, IPC-610 standards. Additional skills and qualifications: Extensive experience in detailed documentation of test procedures. Experience with analog or digital systems. Work environment involves collaborating on the floor with manufacturing engineers, technicians, and quality teams. You will report to the Test Supervisor and work closely with the equipment. Shifts include three positions on the second shift (3-11:30 pm) and one position on the first shift (7-3:30 pm). Training will be conducted on the first shift until individuals are comfortable performing the work independently on the second shift. The pay range for this position is $33.17 - $35.00/hr.
