Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Math, Statistics, or related field preferred, with 3+ years of database/data mining experience, or equivalent work experience. Strong understanding of Big Data Analytics platforms; hands-on with Hadoop, HBase, Pig, SQL. Experience as an RDBMS developer, especially on Oracle, with stored procedures, performance tuning, and ETL. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Shell. Some experience with web development, analytics tools, NoSQL, and data modeling. Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts. Experience with distributed systems. Experience working in Agile teams. Healthcare experience is a plus.
