Dixon Fire is seeking an Assembler to join our team in Winchester, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the quality and timely assembly of components using small hand tools or machinery. This role requires a positive attitude and mechanical aptitude. While one year of previous manufacturing experience is preferred, it is not required.
Responsibilities:
Assembly and inspection of parts
Maintain production reporting
Focus on production, product quality, and accuracy
Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalent is required
Mechanical aptitude is a must
Ability to use basic mathematics (specifically addition and subtraction)
Ability to consistently lift and maneuver 20-30 lbs. over a shift
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Able to consistently and efficiently complete repetitive motions
Flexibility and dexterity with fingers and hands for manipulating parts and components
Must be able to operate hand tools and other machining equipment
Able to communicate effectively and follow basic instructions
Ability to understand and advise on non-conformance of operations
Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
