Dixon Brass is looking for an Assembler to join our team! The ideal candidate will assemble parts according to established procedures and quality standards. This position requires a person who can meet required production goals, work as part of a team to improve processes, and train others. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Responsibilities

Assemble parts according to procedure and quality standards

Meet the required pieces per hour

Communicate with other employees on the manufacturing floor

Work safely around equipment and coworkers

Learn to operate hand tools and machining equipment

Package finished products

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent

Previous assembly and manufacturing experience is preferred

Mechanical aptitude is ideal

Flexibility and dexterity with hands and fingers to manipulate parts

Strong attention to detail

Good math skills

Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

Good organizing skills

A great team player

Ability to stand throughout the shift

Ability to lift and maneuver various components throughout the shift

Steel-toe shoes are required for this position
