DSHS BHHA Developmental Disabilities Administrator- Employee Services Program Manager
As our State Operated Living Alternatives (SOLA) teams continue to grow, we are excited to add an Employee Services Program Manager also known as a Developmental Disabilities Administrator to our office in University Place, WA, just outside Tacoma. This individual will be an essential part of our leadership team in the SOLA programs. This role will provide leadership, oversight and supervision to staff who develop, implement and manage social, behavioral, and health services to enhance the delivery of service. Description

As our State Operated Living Alternatives (SOLA) teams continue to grow, we are excited to add an Employee Services Program Manager also known as a Developmental Disabilities Administrator to our office in University Place, WA, just outside Tacoma. This individual will be an essential part of our leadership team in the SOLA programs. This role will provide leadership, oversight and supervision to staff who develop, implement and manage social, behavioral, and health services to enhance the delivery of service.
In this role, you will provide training and management to staff to enhance the delivery of service. This is an exciting opportunity to make real, lasting differences in the lives of those you serve.
Some Of What You Will Do
Direct the work activities of the unit; set goals and priorities Ensure new staff receive quality experiences with orientation and training Monitor outcomes and conduct quality assurance reviews for the team Consult on individual cases and complex issues with clients Represent the program and/or facilitate at meetings in the community with other state and local departments, administrations, and agencies Consults to supervisors around performance and personnel issues with staff
What We Are Looking For
Experience assessing social dynamics between clients and families in a social service setting Ability to plan, organize, direct and evaluate the work of others Possess mental health crises management experience Ability to identify and notify appropriate entities of dangerous situations
Who should apply?
Education
Professionals with a bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, special education, business administration, public administration, or other related fields and four years of professional experience in the human services field of which:
two years of experience working in the community with people who have developmental disabilities. one year of supervisory, administrative, or professional program service delivery responsibility.
With the exception of (A) and (B), graduate training may be substituted, year for year, for the required experience.
Equivalent education/experience
