Director Product Engineering

This position will lead the engineering teams responsible for delivering innovative, scalable, and user-centric products ensuring that technical execution aligns with product vision and business goals. Work to leverage AI to accelerate development and delivery of solutions, as well as incorporating AI capabilities into product offerings to enhance user experience and business value.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and scale high-performing engineering teams focused on product delivery. Partner with product leadership to define and execute the product roadmap. Translate product vision into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions. Drive a culture of ownership, innovation, and accountability. Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve engineering workflows and product capabilities. Ensure architectural integrity and technical excellence across all product teams. Guide teams in adopting modern frameworks and best practices (e.g., Flutter, React Native, Node.js, Firebase, and Java frameworks). Oversee system design, code quality, performance, and security standards. Champion agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery. Lead initiatives to integrate AI/ML technologies into product features and internal tools. Act as a bridge between engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders. Facilitate clear communication and alignment across teams. Support product discovery and technical feasibility assessments. Hire, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior engineers. Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and succession planning. Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-trust team environment.

Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism. Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers, and business partners. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience:
10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in engineering leadership roles. Proven success leading product-focused engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical background in full stack development and cloud-native architectures. Experience with modern frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, Java Frameworks (such as Spring Boot), Node.js, and Firebase. Demonstrated experience applying AI to accelerate development and enhance product functionality. Experience in a product-led organization or with enterprise SaaS platforms. Knowledge and Skills:
Deep understanding of agile product development, secure coding practices, and scalable system design. Background in real estate technology or similar industries. Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, and performance monitoring tools. Track record of building and scaling engineering organizations. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent teamwork skills, communication skills and the ability to interact and influence across diverse groups of technical and non-technical people at all levels Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to prioritize workload to ensure successful completion of projects
Wage:
$196,400.00 - $214,700.00 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for annual discretionary bonus.
