Senior Property Manager
to lead our team at the 611 Park Avenue and The Severn apartment communities in Baltimore, MD.
We're looking for a candidate with demonstrated success in managing
legacy assets , particularly with
aging mechanical systems . The ideal leader will bring operational expertise, a hands-on management style, and a strong commitment to resident satisfaction.
As the heart of these communities, you will guide the on-site team, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure excellence across all aspects of property performance. Position Details
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Starting Salary:
$77,000 (commensurate with experience) Phone Allowance Included Key Responsibilities
Supervise leasing and operations teams while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws Drive leasing, renewal, and retention strategies to maintain high occupancy Manage and monitor budgets, including financial analysis and variance reporting Conduct property inspections and implement corrective actions within budget Lead marketing efforts and maintain strong curb appeal Oversee maintenance operations and ensure timely work order resolution Foster strong resident relationships and handle escalated concerns Hire, train, mentor, and support on-site staff Maintain proper staffing for daily operations and emergency response Report key operational and financial metrics to RPM and ownership Enforce WPM policies and uphold community standards Qualifications
Minimum
5 years' experience
in a Property Manager role preferred Proven leadership in managing team performance and development Strong communication, budgeting, and organizational skills Proficient in
Microsoft Office
and property management systems Experience with older building systems and infrastructure preferred ARM or CAM certifications
preferred (or in progress) Previous roles such as Maintenance Supervisor, Leasing Specialist, or Assistant Community Manager are a plus Education
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Bachelor's degree (preferred) What We Offer
