Role - Angular Developer Statewide Agile Resources and Teams 2024-Labor Category - Computer Programmer (Senior)
Position Description:
The Computer Programmer (Senior) shall utilize IT equipment and languages (third- and fourth-generation or current state-of-the-art) to develop and prepare diagrammatic plans to solve business, management, communications, and strategic problems. This individual shall design detailed programs, flowcharts, and diagrams showing mathematical computations and sequence of machine operations necessary to copy and process data and print results. This individual shall verify the accuracy and completeness of programs and systems by preparing sample representative data, and perform testing by means of cycle and system processing.
Work cross-functionally and collaboratively to develop an application using open source technologies. Create single page applications using HTML5, Angular, and Java, based on user stories with documented acceptance criteria. Troubleshoot issues and create code fixes for open source products. ddress defects and collaboratively work with functional and technical teams to integrate applications in cloud environments. Work in a fast-paced, agile environment consisting of a cross-functional team designing and implementing systems from the web-based user interface front-end through the back-end. Education:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline; or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field. (Note: A Master's degree is preferred.) General Experience:
The proposed candidate must have at least eight (8) years of programming experience in software development or maintenance. Specialized Experience:
The proposed candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience in IT systems analysis and programming.
Strong hands-on software development experience in web/cloud technologies Strong experience with full stack development, including understanding UI frameworks and back end architecture interactions. Six (6) years of experience with angular JavaScript frameworks/technologies, designing and developing web applications, mobile applications and cross-browser compatible responsive front-end interfaces. Six (6) years of experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Angular, JavaScript and JQuery. Extensive experience using the latest frameworks in JavaScript, Angular, CSS. Extensive working knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, REST, XML, JSON, and scripting language. Experience with agile development methodologies. Experience with issue resolution skills within open source products. Experience with troubleshooting and improving performance of single page applications using Angular. Experience with AWS cloud based development. Functional experience in Federal and/or State health and human services (HHS) programs is preferred (i.e., Child Welfare (CCWIS), Child Support, Adult Protective Services, Juvenile Services, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Women, Infants & Children (WIC), Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), Medicaid, Children Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Care Management, EHR, Child Care).
