Job Description As a General Manager for Honeywell Building Automation, you will hold overall profit-and-loss responsibility for the business. You will establish and drive innovative strategies to accelerate growth by leveraging new methods to generate demand and optimize the core business. You will lead the Novar business for Big Box retail, which is undergoing significant transformation with strong year-on-year growth in 2024 and superior customer outcomes.

You will engage regularly with customers and provide updates to Honeywell leadership. This role offers high visibility within Honeywell's Building Automation division and will report to the General Manager for Honeywell Multisite, based out of Atlanta, GA; Cleveland, OH; or Bentonville, AR, working on a hybrid schedule per company policy.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business strategies focused on growth and customer acquisition

Collaborate on annual operating planning

Identify and pursue new customer segments, including Grocery and retail

Lead deployment of strategic objectives and develop product/technology roadmaps

Coordinate with Operations and Service teams for seamless customer experience

Achieve targets for orders, revenue, margins, and cash flow

Forecast sales pipeline accurately

Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Present updates and strategic proposals to executive leadership

Engage with customers at various levels and negotiate strategic deals

Lead and develop high-performing teams, mentoring and establishing career paths

Promote a growth mindset within the team

Qualifications Must Have

8+ years in operations, business management, sales, or project management

5+ years of direct team leadership

Financial proficiency at the P&L level

Proven results in achieving performance targets

Ability to travel up to 60% domestically and internationally

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Valued Skills

MBA degree

Strong sales and product marketing skills

Experience managing leaders

Effective communication with executive audiences

Experience in building automation or related industries

Membership in relevant industry associations
