Oracle Functional Analyst - Procurement

About the role:
This position is responsible for analyzing, configuring, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud Procurement modules to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, business requirements analysis, and systems integration.
Position Duties and Scope:
Build working relationships with supply chain teams, understanding their processes and staying abreast of planned changes Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support ERP-related initiatives Drive assigned projects aligned with the strategic direction of the Global ERP Director and Operations Manager Identify and propose new initiatives or improvements that optimize financial systems and processes. Ensure solutions comply with ALS standards, including internal audit requirements. Maintain a strong understanding of core supply chain processes and recommend process improvements. Partner with supply chain teams analyze, document, and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements. Facilitate clear communication between technical teams and finance stakeholders. Support testing, training, and deployment activities for system changes. Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices Additional Duties:
Perform other related tasks as assigned to support smooth operations. Position Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Ability to make effective presentations on controversial or complex topics. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities:
Follow all company operating procedures, standards, policies, and training to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the site. Play an active role in the ALS safety program by correcting or reporting unsafe acts and conditions that are observed during day-to-day operations to create a zero-injury work environment. Participate in and support HSE initiatives, as required by ALS leadership. Quality Responsibilities:

A minimum of Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or at least five years of experience working in IT supporting ERP activities Experience with one or more ERP: Oracle Fusion, MS Business Central, SAP Business One, Pronto, Totvs is strongly preferred Other Requirements:
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities. Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day. The ability to communicate via telephone, virtual meetings, and e-mail without assistance. Working at ALS:
