North America HR Business Partner

serves as a trusted advisor and strategic HR leader, supporting operations in both the

United States and Canada . The ideal candidate is bilingual in

English and French , demonstrates strong business acumen, and thrives in a fast-changing environment. This position will be based full-time in

Danbury, CT

and requires periodic engagement with Canadian operations. The role balances both strategic and operational HR responsibilities with an emphasis on talent management, compliance, leadership consultation, and organizational effectiveness. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Partnership & Strategy Serve as an HR partner for business leaders across the US and Canada Align people strategies with business objectives through strategic planning and execution Provide consultative guidance to leadership on complex organizational and employee matters Develop and implement change management, team building, and workforce development initiatives Build trusted relationships across levels to support leadership development and employee engagement Talent & Workforce Management Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes for exempt and non-exempt roles Support workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies Identify, attract, and develop top talent to meet organizational goals Employee Relations & Performance Management Manage performance review and succession planning processes Advise managers and employees on conflict resolution, feedback, and development Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend actions based on findings Compliance & Policy Management Ensure HR practices are in compliance with federal and provincial employment laws Maintain and update HR policies and procedures Assist with audits and risk mitigation strategies Compensation & Rewards Partner with compensation leadership to support pay strategies and decision making Manage compensation changes, communications, and payroll coordination KEY STAKEHOLDERS Senior Management : HR alignment with business priorities People Managers : Guidance on employee relations and team development Employees : Supporting engagement and retention HR Colleagues : Collaboration on policy, processes, and culture Legal & Compliance : Mitigating risk and ensuring regulatory alignment Learning & Development : Partnering on training and skill development programs QUALIFICATIONS Bilingual in English and French (Canadian dialect preferred) Minimum of

10+ years of progressive HR experience , ideally within North American operations Working knowledge of

US and Canadian employment laws Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or a related field Demonstrated experience in: Employee relations Talent management Performance and compensation management Proficient with

HRIS systems

and Microsoft Office Suite Strong interpersonal, facilitation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Able to navigate sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism Comfortable working in a

fast-paced , evolving, and collaborative environment Seniority level
