Charge Master Analyst

Overview The Chargemaster Analyst is responsible for maintaining the consistency of the Chargemaster, including accurate descriptions, coding, additions, deletions, pricing, and other changes. Responsibilities Performs tasks related to improving Patient Financial Services functions. Monitors, analyzes, and maintains the Chargemaster across multiple facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and home health services. Analyzes regulatory changes affecting healthcare and assesses financial impacts. Researches and resolves billing, reimbursement, finance, and compliance issues. Researches and evaluates new service lines. Participates in design, testing, and upgrade teams. Monitors HCPCS code assignments in Supply and Pharmacy departments. Ensures billing and collection practices comply with legal and corporate guidelines. Develops financial reports. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a healthcare-related field with at least 2 years of healthcare receivables experience, or 5 years of healthcare receivables experience. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and familiar with HBOC STAR system. Thorough knowledge of UB92 revenue codes, CPT-4, and HCPCS codes. Strong organizational and time management skills.
