Purpose of the Job Directs and oversees all operations within the organization's learning and development function, including developing and implementing programs and strategies to measure and maximize employee performance. Develops and delivers cohesive training across the organization in areas such as new employee orientation, onboarding, management fundamentals, emotional intelligence, effective communication, teamwork, coaching, and managing conflict. Coordinates performance management cycles, enabling continuous improvement and achievement of BBAHC's Strategic Plan.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education, training, or a closely related field required; Master's degree preferred. Equivalent experience in training may substitute for formal education.
At least ten (10) years of training and development experience required. Prior experience with training support software desired.
At least five (5) years of management experience.
Experience with learning management systems and Microsoft Office products.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of principles and methods of curriculum and training design, appreciation of learning styles, and audience-appropriate presentation methods.
SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional), PHR (Professional in Human Resources), or APTD (Associate Professional in Talent Development) certification preferred.
