Requirements

The Project Management Office (PMO) forthe State of Maine is seeking up to 4 detail-oriented and people-focusedBusiness SMEs to join a resource pool for assignment across various departmentswithin the State of Maine, based on emerging needs. One such immediateassignment involves supporting the rollout and stabilization of thesoon-to-be-launched State of Maine Human Resources Management System using theWorkday platform. The platform, branded as PRISM after its functions to Pay,Recruit, Inform, and Support Maine employees, will launch in early September. This position involves hands-on assistancedelivered both virtually and in person (primarily in Augusta), helping staffnavigate system functionality and resolve real-time issues effectively. Key Responsibilities: · Providedirect, real-time support to state employees using the Workday-based PRISMsystem, both virtually and in person. · Schedule andcoordinate virtual and onsite support sessions with agency staff. · Lead guidedwalkthroughs of key PRISM processes, offering step-by-step assistance, andclarification. · Assist userswith data entry, system navigation, and reconciliation tasks during support sessions. · Troubleshootissues encountered during PRISM use and escalate unresolved or systemicconcerns appropriately. · Documentsupport sessions, track outstanding issues, and follow up to ensure resolution. · Qualifications · Priorexperience as a Business Analyst, Help Desk Analyst, or in a user support roleinvolving enterprise systems. · Stronganalytical, organizational, and communication skills. · Ability toclearly explain technical workflows and processes to end users. · Experiencewith virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams. · Familiaritywith state government systems, HR, or payroll processes is a plus. Required Skills: · Familiaritywith data entry, validation, and reconciliation best practices. · Comfortablenavigating enterprise systems (experience with HR or payroll systemspreferred). · HighlyOrganized and detail-oriented; able to manage and track multiple supportissues. · Capacity tolisten, understand business requirements, and respond with a proactive andgood-humoured approach to problem-solving with a diverse set of stakeholders. · Proficientwith Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. · Ability towork independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. · Previousexperience with Workday, especially time tracking and work schedule, isstrongly preferred. · Willingnessand flexibility to travel to Augusta, as required. Preferred Skills: · Understandingof the complexity in unique and non-standard work schedules, particularly inpublic sector environments. · Experiencesupporting users during large-scale system implementations or transitions. · Familiaritywith the rollout of State Government HR Systems or similar government systems. · Experienceupdating or contributing to user support materials such as FAQs, guides, ortraining content
