Summary
The
Antiterrorism Security Specialist
supports the NAVSEA physical security team by implementing antiterrorism measures, assessing threats, and coordinating responses to security incidents.
Responsibilities
Implement antiterrorism policies and guidance using the risk management process. Compile AT Program Review dates and findings from the NAVSEA physical security team subordinates annually. Support SEA 00P1 with data collection recommendations for risk evaluation and management. Coordinate with subordinate commands to ensure compliance with OPNAVINST F3300 requirements. Assist in the implementation of training and education programs. Establish and lead the AT Executive Committee and working group. Foster ongoing dialogue between intelligence and security departments. Coordinate the command’s annual AT self-assessment. Implement, track, and execute antiterrorism plans and training. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Active DoD Secret security clearance. Three to five years of specialized experience in supporting antiterrorism programs and policies. Experience with developing, implementing, and managing antiterrorism measures effectively. Within 30 days of contract start, must successfully complete the Navy Antiterrorism Level II Training. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficient in verbal and written communication. Knowledge with Microsoft Office applications. Capable of engaging with various levels of government and civilian authorities.
