We are looking for a Service Now Developer to join our team and help us to : • provide Level 3 support 20% of the time and perform development activities 80% of the time • technically analyze requirements to help define technical specifications and solutions • configure, develop, maintain, and support the ServiceNow platform, design and develop solutions with self-service in mind • work effectively within a Scrum team and focus on sprint goal delivery and identify solutions for identified issues during development via open-source community, liaising with vendor, and collaborating with engineers • develop using best practices and standards; write code with performance in mind and drive automation wherever possible • propose alternative solutions to a problem whilst working collaboratively with other team members
Your team
You will join the Newton Pod, Technology Inventories crew in Technology Inventories Data & Report-ing Services alongside 400 colleagues globally. TIDRS offers a best-in-class and cost-effective Service Management Technology, IT Asset Management, and Data Platform Service for our global bank.
The Newton pod is made up of 21 individuals that is responsible for the ongoing support and roadmap delivery for the strategic CMDB and is a significant component in our Bank's ServiceNow journey.
Your role will be located in our Raleigh, NC. office.
Your expertise
• ideally 5+ years of experience implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform • ideally 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow configuration and development experience • ITOM/ITAM application experience, (CMDB, Hardware Asset management and Software Asset Management) • experience in ServiceNow systems integration • hold current ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification or additional ServiceNow certifications • optional experience on ServiceNow SAM Pro module • working knowledge of GitHub, Flow-JIRA, GitLab • experience in one or more scripting languages and good technical writing and documentation skills
