Job Overview: In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering. You will contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables, review and analyze moderately complex challenges, and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables. This role requires leveraging a solid understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering. Model, design, and build data pipelines applying logic to transform and troubleshoot data. Automate processes using Spark, Python, Hadoop/Hive. Implement and manage job scheduling using Autosys. Design and model databases, including MySQL or other standard databases. Leverage big-data stack technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark. Integrate and secure data services with Amazon AWS S3. Utilize tools like PowerBI and Dremio for data visualization and analysis. Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline development and Unix/shell scripting. Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education. Hands-on experience with building data pipelines using big-data stack technologies. Proficiency in Amazon AWS S3, data modeling, and database design. Experience with job scheduling tools like Autosys. Knowledge of PowerBI, Dremio, and Unix/shell scripting. Exposure to GCP cloud data engineering is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work proactively and independently. Financial services experience is a plus but not required.

Pay Range: $58 - $60

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
