IntelliTrans, (ITL), a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking a Sr, Quality Assurance Test Analyst to join our team, hybrid in Atlanta, GA.The Sr. Quality Assurance (QA) Test Analyst is actively engaged in all aspects of the product development life cycle in a small team environment and is responsible for ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing strategies, mentoring junior team members, and implementing quality assurance best practices across development projects, and for validating application software components to ensure a smooth transition from a development environment to a production environment.This crucial team member works collaboratively with Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, IT Resources, Software Engineers and other Business Process Owners to develop, execute, and validate test cases for projects of varying complexity. Experience in Truck and/or Rail Transportation Logistics & Supply Chain is preferred. The candidate must be located within, or relocating to be within, 45 minutes of the Atlanta office, to be onsite when required.Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonableaccommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Designs, develops, and executes comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.Analyzes requirements and identifies potential quality risksWorks closely with the technical team and other stakeholders to document expected test results.Consults with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify intent of requirements when necessary.Performs manual and automated testing across various platforms and environments.Validates expected functionality and documents tests results.Responsible for validating backend data using PL/SQL language.Leads regression testing efforts and coordinates testing activities.Tests overall product functionality to ensure new functionality does not adversely impact existing functionality.Collaborates with development teams to resolve defects and improve processes.Actively communicates testing status including schedule, risks, issues, defects, and potential impacts.Works closely with business owners and end users in resolving questions and facilitating understanding.Mentors junior QA analysts and provides technical guidance.Documents testing procedures and maintains quality metrics.Develops data driven test cases and creates test data.Works closely with EDI resources to verify data flows and data content.Participates in code reviews and design discussions.Validates production releases.Actively engages in a rapid development environment using intellectual curiosity and interpersonal communication to deepen product knowledge and enhance autonomy over time.Identifies and brings forward potential concerns related to business requirements as they are identified (performance, complexity, security issues or other technical pitfalls).Identifies and brings forward ideas to simplify requirements, combine similar efforts, or eliminate duplication to reduce net testing time and to increase efficiency.Participates in product upgrade and release processes.Troubleshoots errors and performance issues in applications, including APIs, web and mobile applications.Participates in supporting production applications.Monitors industry best practices against our Quality Management System to ensure appropriate implementations.Designs, documents and communicates quality assurance principles and standards for various audiences.Technical Skills and Experience:Minimum of 7+ years of related experience in software quality assurance.Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium is beneficial.Advanced knowledge of database testing and SQL, especially Oracle's PL/SQL, to perform backend testing.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Postman, Jira, Confluence, and Teams is desired.Experience with test management tools is beneficial.Advanced understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).Must have a single-minded focus on quality, deadlines and deliverables.Understanding of and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Capable of applying analytical and problem-solving skills to validate application components and processes.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Superb oral and written communication skills and an ability to work with technical and non-technical staff, including Product Managers, Developers, Database Administrators, Architects, Project Managers, and directly with Customer testing resources.Able to see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance.Capable to work independently and to be fully responsible for work results.Experience with AI-assisted quality assurance is desired.Performance Skills/Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong teamwork skills, including the ability to work with teams in different geographic regions.Strong planning, scheduling, organization skillsStrong curiosity and drive to uncover root cause of incidents and find solutions.Strong desire to develop deep industry knowledge and increase autonomy as product and industry knowledge increases, ultimately becoming a mentor to other employees.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Computer Science or Information Systems from a four-year college or university or equivalent experienceAn ability to work independently across multiple projects, and to meet deadlines.Requires minimal supervision and technical assistance.Experience in Truck and/or Rail Transportation Logistics & Supply Chain is preferred.IntelliTrans supports workforce diversity and is a committed equal opportunity. / Affirmative action employer.
