About This Position:
Step into a critical role at the forefront of secure IT operations. As a Tier 2 Desktop Support specialist, you'll deliver hands-on technical support to a wide range of end-user devices across a high-security, dynamic environment. From advanced troubleshooting to executing IMACD requests and driving operational improvements, your expertise will directly impact user experience and mission success.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Full-Lifecycle IT Support: Provide end-to-end support for workstations (thin/thick clients), secure tablets, laptops, monitors, printers, VoIP phones, DVTCs, and more. IMACD Execution: Fulfill Installation, Move, Add, Change, and Disposal (IMACD) service requests with precision and efficiency. Incident Management: Own troubleshooting from cradle to grave, partnering with Tier 3 engineers and external stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues. Application Deployment: Install applications on end-user devices using scripted software packages. Asset & Inventory Management: Track, manage, and maintain hardware and software assets across the enterprise. Peripheral Support: Provide technical support for network and locally attached printers and devices. User Enablement: Deliver user training and support for basic hardware/software functions and IT system access. Documentation & SOPs: Create, update, and maintain operational documentation and training materials. ServiceNow Ticket Management: Utilize ServiceNow to track incidents, service requests, demands, and RITMs to resolution. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve IT support operations. Required Skills:
Windows OS (7, 10), Citrix, SCCM, SMS End-user device hardware and peripherals VDI environments and thin clients AV, VoIP, and DVTC support DNS, DHCP, Patch Management (Windows) Microsoft Office Suite Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree OR 4 years of additional IT experience 3+ years of relevant hands-on IT support experience Certifications: A+, Network+, Security+, DoD 8570.01M-compliant certs, ITIL v3 Foundations. Required Clearance
