Job Title:
Senior Unified Communications Engineer Job Location: On-Site Alexandria, VA. (Hybrid)
CyberData Technologies is seeking to identify highly motivated and qualified individual for an opportunity as Senior Unified Communications Engineer to support, implement, manage, troubleshoot, and maintain the clients Microsoft Teams Phone System and AudioCodes VoIP Solutions.
The client's Teams Phone System is used by all employees and contractors with over 16,000 users to include seven business units. Our client currently has 2 environments (testing and production) which include approximately 500 physical phones, 30,000 DID numbers, 3 SBC's and an OVOC Server installation.
CyberData is responsible for providing professional support services necessary to operate and maintain various environments, collaboration tools to include to the following and related items: SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 collaboration capabilities for users across the Agency.
Job Qualifications: Microsoft Teams Proficiency: Solid understanding of Teams' voice functionality, including calling plans, phone system features, and integration with other Microsoft 365 services. VoIP and Telephony: Knowledge of SIP, Session Initiation Protocol, VoIP infrastructure components, and troubleshooting common issues. PowerShell: Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration tasks within Teams. Direct Routing/Operator Connect: Ability to configure and manage PSTN connectivity through these features. Dial Plan Management: Understanding and experience with dial plan configuration and management within Teams. Network Fundamentals: Familiarity with network concepts, including QoS, QoS policies, and network security related to voice communication. Deploy and integrate Session Border Controllers (SBCs): Ensure proper integration with Microsoft Teams for optimal voice performance. Manage and maintain android using Microsoft Intune. Compliance and configuration policy implementation and troubleshooting Preferred experience with AudioCodes VoIP Systems:
