Essential Responsibilities

The Associate, Leadership Programs will be responsible for supporting the operations and logistics of alumni programming across the Leadership Programs of the Bush Institute. The Associate will collaborate on the implementation of alumni strategies and programming for the Presidential Leadership Scholars program as well as the Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program.

Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

Leadership Program Alumni Operations In collaboration with the Deputy Director of Leadership Programs and program content experts, support the implementation of the overall strategic direction of leadership alumni programming across the Bush Institute. Support programming operations, including supporting both in-person and virtual programming, and coordination of evaluations with leadership team and content experts of each program. Assist with the alignment and coordination of best practices and consistency across leadership alumni programming initiatives. Assist with management of the database of alumni and support communications and network development strategies. Support in the alignment of current programs with alumni program design and delivery, measurement and evaluation, and program marketing efforts. Track alumni program budget, which contributes to an overall culture of fiscal responsibility. Work closely and in partnership with multiple internal departments across the Bush Center including, but not limited to, Finance & Operations, Communications, and Development on various projects. Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency for alumni engagement, to include virtual and communication platforms. Contribute content for web, social media, print, and other distribution channels as needed. Complete other duties as necessary or assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The qualified candidate will possess (a/an):

A minimum of two to four years relevant work experience with a record of progressive responsibility; experience in program, leadership and/or professional development a plus. Experience in project management, including strong research skills, program plan development, goal setting and tracking, budgeting, and managing for results a plus. Bachelor's degree. Strong interpersonal and networking skills. Consistent diplomatic and professional demeanor. Excellent spoken and written communication/presentation skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow up. Commitment to the mission and vision of the George W. Bush Presidential Center. Additionally, the qualified candidate will:
