Position Summary:
Data Strategists will work in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment as part of a centralized data team to improve access to and the use of data across our school sites and central office teams. Strategists will develop data pipelines; complete rigorous statistical analyses; and facilitate the use of data via dashboards, reports, presentations for customized support leaders/teams. The role will be project-based with the focus shifting from project to project. • The primary aim of the
Data Strategist
will be to lead major projects and work streams that move the district towards using data as a strategic asset across school sites and within the central office. Compared to the Associate Data Strategist, the Data Strategist will work closely with stakeholders and systems leaders to gather requirements, complete deliverables, and present results to ensure the successful execution of major, system-wide projects. The ideal candidate exemplifies proficiency in at least two areas of: data engineering, data analysis, and data strategy, with a desire to grow their leadership abilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in area of mathematics, statistics, economics, or related field Two years full time work experience in the education or quantitative science field
