Hydronics Pipefitter/Welder

Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for hydronic systems. Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using manual and semi-automatic equipment. Install and secure piping systems using clamps, brackets, and hangers. Assemble and test hydronic heating/cooling systems including boilers, pumps, and radiators. Perform pressure and leak tests using gauges and hydrostatic methods. Maintain and repair existing piping systems and components. Collaborate with HVAC technicians, plumbers, and engineers on system layout and integration. Ensure compliance with safety codes, building regulations, and environmental standards. Qualifications: Proficiency in welding techniques (SMAW, MIG, TIG, etc.) Strong understanding of hydronic heating/cooling principles. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and piping layouts. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces. High school diploma or GED, vocational training or apprenticeship preferred. AWS Certified Welder or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
