Responsibilities: Install hydronic heating and cooling systems, including boilers, pumps, valves, and piping. Diagnose system issues and perform troubleshooting to restore optimal performance. Test and adjust system parameters such as water pressure, flow rates, and temperature. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to guide installations and repairs. Ensure compliance with local codes and safety regulations. Skills and Qualifications: Must have and understanding of fluid dynamics, HVAC systems, and hydronic principles. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment. Ability to solder, cut, and bend piping using hand and power tools. Familiarity with electrical controls and wiring related to hydronic systems. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Knowledge of codes, safety standards, and energy efficiency practices. Must possess high school diploma or equivalent. Completion of technical training program in HVAC, plumbing, or hydronics. 4-5 years of hands-on experience in hydronic system installation and maintenance. Journeyman-level certification or license (preferred) Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
