As the Overnight Loss Prevention Guard, you will be entrusted with the safety and security of our guests, associates, and property during the quietest hours of the day. This role requires a poised, professional presencesomeone who offers not only vigilance but also hospitality. At The Ben, our Loss Prevention team plays a vital role in upholding the serene luxury our guests expect while maintaining a secure, welcoming atmosphere. Key responsibilities include: Conduct discreet, thorough patrols of the property, including public areas, guest floors, rooftop spaces, and back-of-house corridors. Monitor hotel security systems and surveillance equipment to ensure all areas remain safe and secure. Respond promptly and professionally to any guest concerns, disturbances, or emergencies, always prioritizing safety with grace and discretion. Document incidents with accuracy and care, preparing clear reports for internal records and follow-up. Assist in enforcing hotel policies with courtesy and tact, upholding the high standards of service and professionalism aligned with The Ben's identity. Partner with the overnight hotel team to ensure a seamless guest experience during late-night hours. Be prepared to offer first-response support in the event of fire alarms, medical situations, or evacuations, acting swiftly and calmly. Represent The Ben's values in all interactionswhether with guests, vendors, or associateswith a polished, composed demeanor. Desired qualifications include: Prior experience in hospitality security, luxury environments, or similar roles strongly preferred. Impeccable attention to detail, integrity, and situational awareness. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft professional incident reports. Professional appearance and unwavering commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and guest privacy. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently during overnight hours. Familiarity with hotel security systems, CCTV, and emergency protocols. Availability to work full-time, overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security, hospitality, or law enforcement is a plus.
