Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics
eCommerce Decision Science
The eCommerce Decision Science team partners closely with Product, Strategy, and Business stakeholders to shape the future of digital shopping. As a Senior Manager of Advanced Analytics, you will be a high-impact individual contributor driving the Customer Value Proposition (CVP) charterfocused on delivering the right assortment, everyday low prices, and a seamless, trustworthy experience that builds customer loyalty and repeat behavior. In this role, you will not only generate insights to inform strategy but also design and build AI agents to automate and scale day-to-day analytical workflows. You will work hands-on with data and machine learning tools to improve operational efficiency and enable real-time, intelligent decision-making across eCommerce. Key Responsibilities
Drive Analytics for CVP Strategy: Develop robust analytical frameworks to optimize assortment, pricing, and customer experience. Identify and measure value across key customer journeys. Build AI Agents for Workflow Automation: Create and deploy intelligent agents that automate routine analytics tasks such as data validation, report generation, KPI tracking, and anomaly detection. Lead by Doing: Operate as a senior individual contributor with end-to-end ownershipdefining problem statements, sourcing data, building solutions, and communicating insights. Leverage Clickstream and Transaction Data: Analyze customer behavior to identify friction points and opportunities across platforms. Inform roadmaps for Product, Merchandising, and Marketing. Design KPIs and Self-Serve Tools: Define metrics and develop dashboards that allow business teams to monitor CVP health and performance with minimal analytical friction. Advanced Experimentation: Lead A/B testing and causal inference efforts to assess the impact of new features and strategic changes. Hands-on Data Work: Query, clean, and model large-scale data sets using SQL, Python, and cloud platforms like BigQuery, Hive. Data Storytelling: Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Translate analytical results into compelling recommendations that drive action. Explore and Innovate: Stay on top of the latest developments in generative AI, ML ops, and automation tools. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to future-proof analytical operations. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering) and 7+ years of experience in analytics or data science roles Expertise in SQL and large-scale data platforms (e.g., Google BigQuery, Hive) Strong hands-on experience with data science programming (Python) Demonstrated ability to automate analytics workflows using AI, scripting, or orchestration tools Proven success in driving product or business decisions with analytics Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or MBA with analytics experience Background in eCommerce, Retail, or Pricing & Assortment Analytics Experience building and deploying intelligent agents or automation tools (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, or custom scripts) Familiarity with machine learning concepts, model deployment, and data pipelines Proficiency with BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI Perks and Benefits
