Electrical/Mechanical Design Technician
Apex Systems is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Design Technician to support the development, maintenance, and release of electrical and mechanical drawings, system designs, and engineering documentation. This role involves applying company, industry, and governmental standards using design tools to prepare and update documentation, support system validation, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. This position is expected to be onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and release electrical/mechanical drawings, system designs, and engineering documentation in compliance with applicable standards. Use design tools to prepare documentation and incorporate design changes. Create and modify system design layouts, identify design discrepancies, and support resolution. Support engineering system design and functionality validation activities. Develop and maintain product installation and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex. Coordinate design activities and deliverables with internal teams and external suppliers. Work under general direction with moderate supervision. Qualifications: High school diploma/technical degree with 5 years of related experience, Associate degree with 3 years of related experience, or Bachelors degree with 1 year of related experience 1+ years of experience working with aircraft wiring installation in an electrical capacity 2+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering Technical Design, specifically in wiring installation preferred Experience working with electrical architectures on defense programs desired Strong troubleshooting skills for complex issues with unclear root causes Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel Shift Requirements: This role is 8 Am to 5 PM and will follow a 9x80 work schedule EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
