Role Overview As a Team Leader, you'll guide and inspire a team of dedicated professionals while ensuring operational excellence. You'll play a key role in training, coaching, and supporting team members to create an environment where both employees and guests feel valued. This is an ideal role for individuals who are passionate about people development, problem-solving, and efficiency while maintaining Chick-fil-A's high standards of hospitality and quality service. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Lead by examplemodeling service, teamwork, and integrity. Train, coach, and develop team members to achieve their best. Foster a positive, collaborative team culture that prioritizes growth and accountability. Provide real-time coaching to ensure operational success. Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions. Operational Excellence Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency. Maintain high food safety and cleanliness standards. Ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH for seamless service. Open and/or close shifts while ensuring team members follow restaurant policies and procedures. Assist in inventory management and waste reduction strategies. Labor Compliance & Break Management Ensure compliance with all labor laws, including meal and rest break regulations. Proactively manage shift coverage, adjusting labor as needed based on business demands. Cash Handling & Financial Accountability Oversee cash handling procedures, including drawer counts, deposits, and safe audits. Ensure team members follow proper cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies. Assist in training and coaching on secure and accurate transactions. Guest Experience Handle guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and care. Ensure the team delivers attentive, friendly service by embodying Chick-fil-A's Core 4 (Create eye contact, Share a smile, Speak with enthusiasm, Stay connected). Champion 2nd Mile Service by encouraging meaningful guest interactions and anticipating guest needs. Support the drive-thru, front counter, and dining room to maintain an exceptional guest experience. Additional Responsibilities As a Team Leader, you will be expected to perform all duties as a regular Team Member, including but not limited to: Customer Service : Deliver warm, friendly service with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Order Management : Take guest orders, process payments, and ensure orders are accurate. Food & Drink Preparation : Prepare drinks, desserts, and bag orders. Dining & Drive-Thru Service : Deliver orders and provide hospitality both in the dining room and at the drive-thru. Cleanliness & Safety : Maintain a clean, stocked, organized, and safe environment. Team Collaboration : Work alongside your team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Communication : Effectively communicate with guests and team members. Adherence to Policies : Follow Chick-fil-A's policies as outlined in the employee handbook at all times. What We're Looking For Leadership Presence : Inspires and motivates others. Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50lb and be on your feet for the entirety of your shift. Language Requirement:

Ability to read, write, and speak standard English sufficient to effectively communicate with guests, coworkers and other business affiliates who speak only English, when necessary for safety reasons or emergency response procedures, when engaged in team-related work efforts or project teams that include individuals who only speak English, for workplace training purposes, and when job performance is being monitored by a supervisor that only speaks English. Must be able to work one of the shifts below per day. Full time (30+ hours) availability is required for the Team Leader position. Opening : 6am-12pm Lunch : 10am-4pm Midday : 2pm-8pm Closing : 5pm-11pm Weekend Availability : Friday
