Industrial Energy Solutions Specialist

The Industrial Energy Solutions Specialist is responsible for engaging in consultative conversations with potential customers who have inquired about Generac's backup power products. Provides support by answering questions, addressing concerns, overcoming objections, and encouraging customers to schedule appointments as appropriate. Major Responsibilities Answer in-bound pre-sale questions over the phone, email, and web chat regarding Industrial Energy products on a priority basis. Answer detailed questions regarding Generac products. Educate consumers on the benefits of working with an authorized Generac Sales & Service dealer. Identify potential customer profiles. Perform outbound calls to confirm interest. Follow up with potential customers to gather additional information and connect them with a dealer salesperson. Re-engage, develop, and nurture relationships via phone and email. Run lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns to maintain a healthy pipeline of leads Track sales leads throughout their lifecycle, successfully re-initiating the sales cycle with previous potential customers who received, but did not purchase a product. Identify the root causes of customers not buying and address those issues with product knowledge and the value of Generac products and dealer relationships. Responsible for hitting outbound sales targets by effectively managing and re-engaging sales leads. Maintain effective relationships with internal teams by providing information, customer sales support, and coordination to facilitate buying decisions. Minimum Job Requirements Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience 2 years related experience in a sales, retail and/or marketing role in a B2B environment Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Technical Knowledge and Expertise in the Field of Industrial Energy Solutions Experience working with a CRM program Ability to Interpret Data, Analyze Results and Make Recommendations Problem-solving ability Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including consumers, dealers, and contractors Proven experience as a sales consultant Excellent communication (verbal & written), negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Ability to flex and prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines Ability to take initiative and work proactively Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness Flexibility with schedule to account for business coverage and additional hours during storm response Preferred Job Requirements Bachelor's degree Bilingual Preferred Great Reasons to work for Generac: Competitive Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k and many more Free onsite gym open Monday through Saturday for Generac employees We offer product loan (for up to 4 days) and discount programs Pride!
