Communications Marketing Coordinator

As a Communications Coordinator, you will support the development and execution of internal and external communications strategies that enhance our brand, engage our employees, and connect with our clients. As part of the marketing team you will assist in creating content, coordinating campaigns, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment within the insurance industry. Key Responsibilities: Assist in editing and drafting as necessary, communications materials including newsletters, intranet content, press releases, email campaigns, and social media content Coordinate internal communications that support employee engagement, including intranet updates, announcements, and leadership messages Support external marketing campaigns by preparing promotional materials, managing content calendars, and helping with digital communications Monitor and report on communications metrics, including email open rates, web traffic, and social media engagement Assist in maintaining brand voice and visual identity across all touchpoints Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Operations, HR, Legal, IT) to gather content and ensure consistent, aligned messaging Provide administrative support for communications projects, including scheduling, proofing, and file management Stay current on industry trends and best practices in digital and corporate communications Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and content scheduling tools Basic understanding of email marketing platforms Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn Location: US - ME - Bangor Time Type: Full time Requisition ID: JR1057
