Loss Prevention & Operational Compliance Auditor

The Loss Prevention & Operational Compliance Auditor is responsible for the planning and performing of Bowling Center, FEC, and Water Parks operational compliance audits that focus on operational compliance and reducing risks and losses within an assigned geographic region. Provide a corrective action plan for audit items that need improvement. Analyze available reports (exception, financial, and Point of Sale (POS)) to identify areas of risk to be reviewed during an audit. Provide corrective direction to Location Management and staff in areas where there are weaknesses in audit results. Develop and provide investigative feedback to Loss Prevention Manager and / or Regional Director of Loss Prevention in all situations where intentional loss is discovered. Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Prepare and audit bowling centers, family entertainment centers, and water parks for compliance with Company Operating Standards. Compile audit results and present in a written report format Review and analyze available reports, including financial reports, exception reports, and Point of Sale (POS) reports to identify locations with potential theft problems. Provide direction to location management and staff in competencies that the audit identifies as needing improvement. Review of the following: cash handling, bank deposits, league banking, POS, scoring reconciliation, center security, payroll, and safety. Inventory observations and reconciliation. Review of safety program requirements. Ability to develop an understanding of the various scoring systems, Point of Sale, CRM, and other systems pertinent to execution of the position. Assist the Director of Loss Prevention Field Audit, and Loss Prevention Managers as needed. Available for overnight and/or extended travel with little or no notice, ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as extended workdays to support business needs. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory responsibilities: n/a Qualifications: Loss Prevention & Operational Compliance Auditor possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity, respect for all individuals (customers, vendors, and employees), solid communication skills, and strong critical and analytical thinking skills. Loss Prevention & Operational Compliance Auditor must be a strong team player and people developer, possess a high level of profit and loss capability, have strong attention to detail and maintain confidentiality in all matters. They must be a detail oriented, forward thinking and able to work independently with unlimited initiative. Education and/or experience: 2-4 years of audit experience or bowling center, FEC, or water park operations experience with strong working knowledge of systems and processes. Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable. Work environment/physical demands: General office environment where you will walk, bend and stand for periods of time.
