Receive and execute instructions, prints, and work orders for various welding and cutting jobs. Maintain, repair, and fabricate equipment and work area by cutting, burning, and welding various metals. Clean and prepare surfaces to be maintained, repaired, or fabricated. Use burning/cutting equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut metals to required size and shape. Develop, analyze, and review operational reports to examine equipment usage, preventative maintenance, efficiency, and quality. Assist in developing operating policies and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and a safe work environment. Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance and repair work as needed. Report all incidents through the company's reporting protocol. Support company safety initiatives and demonstrate knowledge of all required competencies. Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of welding experience in a similar industrial environment. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Basic math skills. Ability to work at various heights and utilize fall arrest systems and harnesses. Ability to work extended hours, including holidays, and weekends as work dictates. Physical fitness to perform all essential physical demands of this job safely. Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Licenses & Certifications
