Accountant
Trillium Construction is hiring for an Accountant in the New Braunfels, TX area. Qualified candidates will be managing financial transactions, job costing, and reporting for fabrication and construction projects. Duties: Maintain accurate and timely financial records for multiple construction projects. Perform job costing and track expenses against project budgets. Prepare monthly Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports and adjust entries as needed. Collaborate with project managers to monitor project performance, forecast costs, and analyze variances. Reconcile vendor invoices, subcontractor pay applications, and change orders. Manage accounts payable and receivable specific to construction billing cycles (AIA billing, retainage, etc.). Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and construction contract requirements. Assist in preparing financial statements, budget reports, and audits. Track fixed assets and depreciation related to construction equipment and tools. Compensation: Hourly rate between $27/hr - $30/hr -M/V/D benefits Qualifications: High school diploma, or GED required 3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP accounting, and construction billing practices. Proficiency with QuickBooks Online required Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
