Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Computer Applications, Coordinator - Boca Raton, FL. Responsibilities: Serve as a member of the College Computing Services support team for the Schmidt College of Arts and Letters, supporting academic requirements and instructors' curriculum. Develop and implement protocols, systems, and software for efficient operation of the computer labs, faculty, and staff, including Apple macOS, Windows 11, Intune, Apple School Manager, Configuration Manager, and Active Directory Policies. Support all operations of the College of Arts and Letters, including managed computers and peripherals, such as offices, labs, equipment, supplies, cleanliness, and safety. Support computer imaging and virtualization. Improve the commonality of lab, classroom, and office computers across campuses. Create and maintain web pages via a Content Management System. Create and maintain digital advertising presentations and the hardware used for the presentations. Test new cloud-based technology and assist the technical direction for future computer infrastructure. Improve documentation for software installations and deployment. Liaise with external vendors and suppliers. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience. Salary: $50,000.00 - $51,500.00 per year. College or Department: College of Arts & Letters Location: Boca Raton Work Days and Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. Occasional early mornings, nights and weekends due to the nature of the position.
