Business Processes Principal Consultant
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Principal Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to develop, based on your foundation of extraordinary technical and application knowledge, new capabilities to provide solution advisory and to build strategic partnerships with key decision makers in customer & partner organizations, as well as inside SAP. Expectations and tasks include: Represent SAP towards the customers, as well as leading a role in execution of projects. Support regional sales and solutioning centers to build customer specific engagement proposals and to position these proposals successful at customers. Develop engagement and establish an engagement roadmap premium engagement contract beyond journeys and focus packages. Take a lead role in the execution end-to-end transformation projects from innovation identification, handover to run, up to the extension of existing solutions. Take responsibility for the outcomes of complex, innovative, and business critical programs integrating client strategic business goals. Lead industrialization and automation of projects to scale our capabilities. Build and lead collaborations with SAP development units to improve SAP products. Lead the resolution of critical customer situations, production downs and escalations. Education and occupational experience required: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Qualifications/skills and competencies experience: Defining the roadmap and future state architecture for SAP Solution Landscape meeting the strategy of Intelligent Enterprise. Defining technical architecture and infrastructure for SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA. Using various hyperscaler specific infrastructure solutions and virtualization technologies to apply towards SAP application deployment. Database technologies with strong understanding of performance tuning. Plan and architect the de-escalation strategy and bring the SAP solution back to operations. Downtime minimization technologies like ZDO and Downtime Optimized Conversions. Defining the instance and landscape strategy for hybrid SAP landscapes. Travel: Position requires up to 40% domestic and international travel to various unanticipated client sites.
