Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking Board-Certifiedor Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team in San Diego,California for a full-time contracted 1099 position. This is an excellentopportunity to practice in a dynamic emergency department while enjoying one ofthe most desirable locations in the country.

Shift Details:

• 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform advanced clinical procedures including airway management, resuscitation, suturing, splinting, and emergency stabilization.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory studies, radiographs, and EKGs.
• Collaborate with specialists and hospital staff to coordinate patient care and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Respond to all codes and rapid response calls as needed.

Requirements:

• Will consider Board-CertifiedInternal Medicine and Family MedicinePhysicians with extensive Emergency Medicine experience
• Provider does not need aCalifornia license - must have an active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state
• Must have a minimumof 3 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience
• Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
• DEA license with California registration
