We are seeking Board-Certifiedor Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team in San Diego,California for a full-time contracted 1099 position. Shift Details:
* 12-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
* Provide immediate evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. * Perform advanced clinical procedures including airway management, resuscitation, suturing, splinting, and emergency stabilization. * Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory studies, radiographs, and EKGs. * Collaborate with specialists and hospital staff to coordinate patient care and ensure appropriate follow-up. * Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). * Respond to all codes and rapid response calls as needed.
Requirements:
* Will consider Board-CertifiedInternal Medicine and Family MedicinePhysicians with extensive Emergency Medicine experience * Provider does not need aCalifornia license - must have an active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state * Must have a minimumof 3 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience * Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications * DEA license with California registration
