Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Director to oversee and manage the planning, direction, and execution of IT programs in a DoD environment. This role requires advanced leadership and technical expertise to ensure successful delivery and innovation across various complex projects. The Program Director will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of the program lifecycle, from initiation to completion, while fostering collaboration across multiple teams.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and manage IT programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies for the successful execution of projects within a DoD environment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project success.
- Oversee the procurement of IT hardware and software, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in the program management process.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, risks, and achievements to senior management.
- Research and implement new and emerging technologies to improve program outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with DoD regulations and policies related to IT operations.
- Manage and mentor team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.
What We Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field (required).
- Minimum of ten (10) years of IT program management experience, with at least five (5) years of experience in a DoD environment.
- Experience with technology procurement and the implementation of IT systems.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of IT program management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations certification.
- DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II certification.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in an IT-related field.
Clearance Level:
DIA adjudicated clearance TS, SCI eligible.
