Job Summary

n

As a key driver of product excellence, the Quality Engineer ensures that all components, systems, and processes meet or exceed customer, supplier, and regulatory expectations. This role serves as a critical liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and customers to uphold and advance quality standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Customer & Supplier Quality

n
    n
  • n

    Serve as the primary contact for customer and supplier quality issues.

  • n

    Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality concerns.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Monitor nonconforming parts through the RMA and rework process. Ensure timely disposition and closure of all cases.

Internal Quality Assurance

    n

    Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions.

  • n
  • n

    Support production teams in quality control and continuous improvement efforts.

Team Leadership & Training

    Train and mentor team members on quality standards and procedures.

  • n

    Promote a culture of quality and accountability across departments.

Auditing & Compliance

n
    n
  • n

    Conduct internal audits and support external audits for ISO 9001 and other standards.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Ensure compliance with ITAR and other regulatory requirements.

  • n
n

Data Analysis & Reporting

    n
  • n

    Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Utilize digital quality tools and data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Minitab.

Required Skills and Abilities

n

Technical Skills

n
    n
  • n

    Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field

    n
  • n
  • n

    2 - 5 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment

    n
  • n
  • n

    Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, 8D)

    n
  • n
  • n

    Experience in ISO 9001 and ITAR compliance

    n
  • n
  • n

    Familiarity with electrical and/or power distribution systems is a plus

    n
  • n
