The candidate will design mounting and enclosure solutions for wireless networking equipment. We are a hi-tech manufacturing company with a focus in Wi-Fi systems for enterprise deployments. This position is full-time and located in San Antonio, Texas.nnA Day In The LifennDuties and Responsibilitiesnn· Responsible for design, development, and test of mounting and enclosure solutionsnn· Strong knowledge of metals (such as aluminum, steel) and plastics, molding or injection molding desirednn· Work with product management and marketing to understand business challenges and needsnn· Develop designs in Solidworksnn· Capable of modeling in Solidworksnn· Problem solving and testing in short time periodsnn· Familiar with 3D printingnn· Able to read and work with detailed hardware schematicsnn· Accurately maintain design repositorynnWhat will help you thrive in this role?nnSkills and Experiencenn· Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineeringnn· Experience in a manufacturing environmentnn· Good verbal and written skillsnn· Technical writing is a plusnn· Strong troubleshooting skillsnn· Good interaction and interpersonal skills with end users as well as teamnn· Proficient use of computer systems/softwarenn· Safety Consciousnn· Flexible and adaptable to changenn· Ability to understand and follow specific directions and instructionsnn· Keen attention to detailnn· Ability to multi-task and work under tight, time specific deadlinesnnHubbell IncorporatednnHubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
