Join us at Miriam West Village, the third installation of the popular Miriam Restaurant, brought to you by renowned chef/owner Rafael Hasid. We are excited to invite talented individuals to be part of our brand new restaurant, where passion meets innovation in every dish.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary team. If you have a passion for Mediterranean cuisine and are eager to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our menu standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and efficient workflow.
- Assist in stock rotation.
- Follow recipes and portion controls to minimize waste and ensure consistency.
- Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Handle kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a line cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and cooking techniques is a plus.
Compensation:
Hourly pay between $18 - $25, commensurate with experience. Full-time positions available.
