Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Deburr Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from machined or fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for assembly or further processing. The ideal candidate will have experience working with metal, plastic, and other materials, as well as familiarity with various deburring techniques and tools.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Remove burrs, sharp edges, and other imperfections from parts using hand tools, power tools, and automated deburring machines.Inspect parts to identify areas requiring deburring, ensuring they meet quality specifications.Use precision measuring instruments to check dimensions and tolerances of parts after deburring.Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with safety protocols.Maintain and clean deburring tools and equipment to ensure proper function.Work closely with quality control to ensure all deburred parts meet company and industry standards.Document and report any issues or defects found during deburring and suggest improvements to the process.Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines and optimize workflows.Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.Familiarity with deburring techniques and tools, such as rotary tools, hand files, abrasive wheels, and deburring machines.Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on quality and efficiency.Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for long periods of time.Capability to lift and move parts weighing up to 50 pounds.Manual dexterity to handle tools and small parts.Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.Working Conditions:Manufacturing floor environment.Excessive noise (hearing protection required)Dust, smoke, fumes/vapors Safety equipment, such as gloves,mask, goggles, and ear protection, must be worn.This position offers a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for precision work and a commitment to quality.
