In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands and now there is the opportunity to Globally grow both brands together.We are on a journey of continuous growth - now looking for our next star - a passionate Production PlannerThis role, you will be involved in arranging and accelerating the flow of equipment, materials, parts, assemblies, and other materials according to master production schedule (MPS).Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Create an optimal weekly production schedule for each machine or assembly line to support the master production schedule while supporting efficient use of manufacturing resources and minimal work-in-progress (WIP) inventory levels.Monitor daily production schedule by comparing actual production to schedule and resolve any schedule conflicts as needed.Monitor daily scrap and cycle count adjustments to ensure that assembly production can be supported.Establish daily machine priorities based on the shop floor feedback on production progress.Create and maintain accurate planned schedule completion dates for discrete jobs in Oracle.Monitor MRP outputs and exceptions reports to adjust discrete job schedules and to maintain optimal inventory levels.Review Oracle schedule recommendations, manufacturing lead time calculations and report all inaccuracies or differences between standards and demonstrated capacities to manufacturing managers and Industrial Engineering groups.Support maintenance department by providing scheduled down times for machines based on the published preventive maintenance schedule.Compile and maintain records, such as material inventory, WIP reports, and status and location of materials.Other duties as assigned.What do we offer?MedicalDentalVisionLife InsuranceShort term & Long-term disabilityAccidental death insuranceSupplemental life insuranceCompany paid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountsMinimum Requirements and Qualifications A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experienceExperience: 3 years' planning experience in a manufacturing environment using an MRP/ERP systemEnglish language skills: Able to speak and comprehend EnglishMath skills: Able to add, subtract, divide & multiplyTo be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics: Knowledge of advanced supply chain planning, Kanban, demand flow and other advanced materials management conceptsOracle 11i experienceAPICS certificationsAnd of course - our Core ValuesTo thrive and succeed in this role, you understand the importance of our core values - Together We build our future, We play to win, We embrace change and We walk the talk; these values reflect the heart and soul of Dometic and they define what it takes to work here and how we do things.Are you our next star?
