Systems Accountants
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans in partnership with key business functions.
Analyze financial performance, identify key trends and drivers, and provide variance analysis with insightful commentary.
Partner with business units (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain) to develop and track KPIs, product margins, pricing strategies, and promotional ROI.
Prepare and present monthly reporting packages to senior leadership, including P&L analysis, balance sheet trends, and cash flow insights.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, scenario planning, and business cases.
Support earnings preparation, board decks, and investor-related financial analysis.
Continuously improve financial processes, reporting tools, and data integrity.
Collaborate with accounting, supply chain finance, and commercial finance teams to ensure accurate data and alignment across departments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
4–6+ years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A, preferably within a consumer products, retail, or manufacturing company.
Experience in a public company environment, with strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and SEC requirements.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial planning systems (e.g., Anaplan, OneStream, Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, SAP BPC).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to leadership.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
Preferred Experience:
Exposure to inventory, cost of goods sold, and gross margin analysis.
Knowledge of trade spend, channel mix, and retail/customer-level profitability is a plus.
Experience supporting commercial, supply chain, or marketing teams in a finance capacity.
