Electrical Engineer (Electrical Power Infrastructure) Description: Supports defense analytical requirements with scientific/engineering research, capability/limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis/characterizations, facility and vulnerability assessments. Analysis includes complex foreign electronic systems, subsystems, facilities, or equipment, emphasizing areas related to electric power, microelectronics, electronic hardware, circuits, sensors, guidance and control, signals, electromagnetic, electro-optical (EO)/infrared (IR), and related fields. Relevant coursework or experience in electric power industry, including power generation, distribution, and renewable/nuclear energy development. Processes to maintain operations during normal, natural disaster, and emergency conditions, including kinetic and non-kinetic attacks. Experience at electric power facilities or relevant academic background. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Research and evaluate classified and open-source intelligence, identify gaps, and submit collection requirements. Create detailed all-source assessments and produce quality intelligence products following IC analytic standards on electric power facilities and networks. Assess foreign capabilities, deficiencies, and vulnerabilities of electric power facilities to understand their impact on military capabilities. Maintain and monitor databases on facilities, installations, and networks. Perform vulnerability assessments of petroleum and natural gas facilities. Collaborate with IC colleagues and foreign partners to produce analytic products using available resources and expertise. Enhance reporting quality and foster effective collaboration within the IC. Experience with tools such as iSpy, message traffic tools, MARS, ArcPro, and geospatial data tools. Security Clearance: TS/SCI clearance required with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY. Desired experiences: At least 8 years of relevant analysis experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years. Desired education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university; alternatively, 12 years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree.
