Mid. Energy Analyst (Oil and Natural Gas Infrastructure)
Identify the characteristics, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and operational status of foreign countries' oil and natural gas networks, facilities, and equipment that contribute to energy security, which includes support to their military capabilities. Produce all-source analytic products and engage in data curation to support customers' missions. Collaborate with branch, external analysts, and colleagues acquire information used in deliverables to support planning and decision-making by customers. Specific skills and experience required include: Demonstrated ability to participate in all phases of preparing and presenting oil and natural gas infrastructure analysis in written DIA products that adhere to IC analytic tradecraft standards and oral presentations as it applies to national policy, military strategic/tactical planning and operations. Knowledge of energy infrastructure and its vulnerabilities, specifically petroleum, oils, and lubricants-related facilities, networks, transit chokepoints, and control systems including refineries, storage depots, pipelines, pump stations, and import/export terminals. Experience in using the following tools: iSpy Message traffic tools MARS ArcPro Geospatial data holdings tools Security clearance required TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY. Desired experiences: At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. Desired education: Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 12 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
