POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Integrator (PI) supports the execution of a designated marine program by facilitating integration across all program functions, ensuring alignment with program goals, schedules, and deliverables. Working directly with the Program Manager, and reporting to the Program Integrator, the API plays a critical coordination and communication role in driving performance and managing the daily rhythm of the program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Program Manager on an ad hoc basis, to include general program management tasking Serve as a liaison between the Program Manager and cross-functional teams (engineering, production, supply chain, finance, etc.) to ensure program priorities are clearly communicated and executed. Track progress toward key milestones and deliverables, escalating risks or delays as needed. Assist the Program Integrator in maintaining integrated schedules and tracking program performance metrics. Facilitate and document program meetings, action items, and follow-ups to maintain program momentum. Help prepare program updates, reports, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders. Monitor and support adherence to contractual, technical, and schedule requirements. Coordinate with support functions to ensure timely resolution of program issues. Contribute to continuous improvement of program management tools and processes. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 5+ years of experience in project or program support roles, preferably in a shipbuilding, defense, or complex manufacturing environment. Familiarity with program/project management principles and tools (e.g., MS Project, Earned Value Management, risk tracking). Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in marine or defense industry programs preferred. Experience with program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Earned Value Management, Scheduling, and Financial Reporting in compliance with FARS and DFARS is highly desirable. Understanding of NAVSEA processes or DoD acquisition programs preferred. PMP or similar certification a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is conducted in a dynamic, fast-paced office setting. The person may be required to be in production areas at times. He/she must be able to walk to and from job sites. There may be local travel up to 10% of the time and out-of-town travel (including air travel) up to 5% of the time with notice.
