Grant Thornton (US) Job Description As an IT Diligence Senior Associate, you’ll help our clients solve their toughest problems and develop value creation strategies that make a real impact for the Transaction Advisory Practice. Our Enterprise Diligence solution includes several integrated capabilities supporting clients throughout the transaction lifecycle. We assist in all aspects of their business cycle, whether propelling a company forward through transactions, developing controls to mitigate risk, or advancing finance and technology infrastructure to meet strategic goals. From day one, you’ll be empowered to help clients achieve their vision and help yourself grow professionally. Your day-to-day may include: Managing, executing, and delivering IT due diligence, integration, and separation planning efforts for private equity and strategic buyers Advising clients on strategic initiatives during transactions, including assessing IT operating models, identifying risks, and quantifying remediation efforts Delivering IT due diligence services with high-quality reports and financial models based on transaction impacts Supporting clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, including diligence, Transition Service Agreements, and post-transaction planning Performing detailed analyses to identify improvement opportunities, documenting conclusions, and providing recommendations Assisting leadership with budgets and work plans Training sessions on enterprise diligence, IT best practices, and use of IT tools for transaction advisory solutions Meeting or exceeding targeted billable hours (utilization) Other duties as assigned You should have the following skills and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT, Accounting, or similar; MBA with MIS or related focus preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in IT due diligence, operational diligence, or integrations & separations within the transaction cycle Industry-recognized certifications such as PMI/PMP, M&A, CPA, CPMI are a plus Understanding of IT Operating Models, including software development frameworks, IT budgets, TSA development, governance, and operations Experience supporting large-scale technology integration or separation projects Ability to analyze complex data and synthesize outputs Experience preparing business cases supporting strategic initiatives Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork experience Willingness to travel up to 50% The salary range varies by location: Los Angeles, CA: $103,700 - $155,500 Chicago, IL: $96,000 - $144,000 Bellevue, WA: $103,700 - $155,500 New York, NY: $103,700 - $155,500 About Us At Grant Thornton, we prioritize trust, diversity, and personalized career growth.
